Job Title: Surety Account Manager (Northwest Platform)

Responsibilities:

• Interacts with clients in responding to their bond specific needs, i.e., contract documents, bond forms, rating and billing questions, etc.

• Interacts with surety company representatives in handling transactional related information/issues

• In the administration of the bond programs of our clients, i.e., premium billings, rating issues, contract documents, bond forms, bid results, etc.

• Prepares client-specific documents

• Processes billing transactions

• Works within the agency management system's electronic file management specific to our surety clients, i.e., lnsureVision and Applied

• Coordinate’s client service with Account Executive

• Continues to pursue professional development as applicable

Requirements:

• Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members

• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance

• Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

• The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information

• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude

• Applied Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Education/Experience:

• College Degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, preferred

• 440 insurance license, required

• Minimum 3+ years relevant Commercial Lines/Construction insurance experience

• Brokerage experience or knowledge of surety products preferred
