Senior Manager - Product Marketing

- Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, LOBs, to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Manage product launch activities, including promotional material development, sales training, and market introduction strategies.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics, adjusting marketing strategies as necessary to achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure buy-in and support for marketing initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and leverage insights to inform marketing strategies.
- A minimum of 12 years of work experience in marketing, with a significant portion in a product marketing or related capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully launching and managing product GTM, and a track record of developing and executing effective marketing strategies and plans.
- Evidence of strong copywriting skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of writing samples or a body of work available for review.
- Previous experience in life sciences or a closely related field is highly desirable.
- Market Research and Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough market research and analyze trends to understand customer needs and preferences. This involves familiarity with research methodologies, data analysis tools, and techniques.
- Marketing Strategy and Planning: Knowledge of marketing principles and the ability to develop effective marketing strategies and plans. This includes understanding customer segmentation, positioning, and targeting. Also includes data analysis and reporting.
- Communication Skills, especially Copywriting: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. This includes the ability to create compelling product messages, write persuasive marketing materials, and present information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Digital Marketing Skills: Basic proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, and content marketing.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including launch timelines, marketing campaigns, and cross-functional team coordination. This requires organizational skills and proficiency in project management tools.
- Customer Orientation: A strong focus on customer needs and the ability to translate customer feedback into product improvements and effective marketing strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Capability to work effectively with various teams (sales, product development, LOBs) and manage relationships with key stakeholders. This includes understanding their needs, aligning strategies, effectively communicating updates, and managing expectations.
- Creativity and Innovation: Being creative in marketing approaches and continuously seeking innovative ways to promote and differentiate the product.
