As a Downstream Chemicals Technical Training Instructor, you'll be a major component for educating at all experience levels for our global organization. You'll ensure our teams receive the up-to-date training needed to perform their jobs and accelerate the successful deployment of new technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and provide education on technology, processes and technical systems to Downstream Chemicals personnel and Customers, delivered through presentations, digital tools, hands-on training classes, online sessions, and/or workshops.
- Supporting the development and delivery of new classes for the Downstream Chemicals organization that cover new or existing technologies and competencies.
- Managing training facilities and training tools complying with company standards on HSE, IT, legal and security aspects.
- Engaging with technology managers and SMEs in the organization to stay current on technical matters, ensure training material is up to date, and meets business needs.
- Providing training to broader Production Solutions and associated initiatives as needed.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role involving training of technical Downstream elements in a formal setting.
- Have an aptitude for interacting and communicating effectively with people from different professional and personal backgrounds.
- Recommend, set up and deploy new training ideas to increase the effectiveness of the classes and engagement of the students.
- Be methodical and organized to prepare, execute and complete training activities.
- Be a quick learner capable of adopting new technologies, to include video and Web Based Training creation, to enhance classroom experience.
- Be proficient in Power Point and Excel
