Partner with the best

As the site Lead HSE Specialist, you will manage and facilitate HSE requirements and activities. You will be expected to strengthen our HSE culture through relationship development with the frontline employees and leaders of the site. In addition, you will ensure that risk assessments are in place and remain effective in managing site HSE risks.

As a Lead HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on HSE topics, including risk assessments and incident investigation for the site.

  • Contributing to projects as a team member or leading HSE projects.

  • Maintaining Government HSE compliance, reporting requirements, and managing the adoption of relevant policies and procedures.

  • Advising and guiding functional managers regarding compliance with government regulations, environmental permitting, and improvement projects.

  • Communicating with direct colleagues and the business leaders about HSE topics.

  • Conducting new hire safety training.

  • Ability to be on call for site HSE issues.

  • Gathering, preparing, and sharing HSE Key Performance Indicator reports with plant leaders.

  • Complete HSE audits for the plant.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the in Health and Safety industry

  • Minimum 3 experience in HSE operations.

  • 1 plus years' experience working with a HSE management systems, local HSE regulations, and widely used international standards.

  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Be available for travel as required.
