Additionally, through CancerLinQ, a health technology platform originally developed by ASCO and now an initiative of ConcertAI, we aim to deliver tools and services to a diverse network of oncology practices and cancer centers to improve the quality of cancer care and advance discovery.
Role Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide contract/administrative support to the Legal team.
Responsibilities
- Perform standard, advanced, and confidential administrative duties requiring broad experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies and procedures related to customer contracting.
- Assist in compiling and processing customer contract information.
- Responsible for entering and maintaining customer contract information in systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for receiving executed customer contracts, verifying the contract, notifying the appropriate parties, processing for countersignature and returning fully executed customer contracts to the customer.
- Follow internal policies to ensure compliance.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers, presentations or reports for consideration and presentation to upper management.
- Responsible for special projects assigned.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Employee Handbook, as may be amended from time to time. Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations and the company's governance/compliance program.
- Responsible for reporting violations of the company's policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company's Help Line or other mechanism that may be available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts.
- Becomes knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility. Participates in the internal controls self-assessment process.
- Ensures concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to management.
- Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates Degree from a recognized college or trade school a plus.
- Two years administrative or equivalent experience. Will consider five years experience/training or an equivalent combination in lieu of Assoc Degree.
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines while maintaining flexibility
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to anticipate needs and be proactive
- Advanced ability in organization, time management and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and partnership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
- Must have the ability to work with poise in an environment that requires quick turnaround.
- Must display diplomacy, problem solving skills, resourcefulness and professionalism, and be comfortable interacting with senior management and customers.
