The Role:

Cox Talent Acquisition (“CTA”) is responsible for connecting talent with opportunity, enabling Cox to build a better future through a shared services organization spanning all Cox companies. CTA operates in a matrix-style environment where autonomy, collaboration, and agility are vital to our success. Each member of our team has the responsibility and opportunity to influence CTA strategies, innovate improvements in our function, and drive exceptional experiences across our customer groups.

The Talent Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering actionable insights to inform CTA Talent Attraction Strategy, utilizing findings to consult on new talent ventures for Cox, labor demographics and availability, competitive alignment, Employer Branding and EVP positioning. Reporting to the Talent Intelligence Manager, this role will involve compiling market data and researching industry benchmarks to consult on recruitment strategies and enhance Cox competitive advantage in attracting top talent.

This is an opportunity for an individual to be a part of a growing team within CTA and create impact and improve upon internal Recruiting plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and maintain a pulse on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks in talent availability and attraction.
  • Utilize Lightcast, Oxford Economics, and other market research tools daily to identify gaps in CTA strategies req-to-req, as well as functional business areas.
  • Visualize highlighted data findings in PowerPoint to be presented and make recommendations across Talent Acquisition touchpoints such as HR and Compensation Partners.
  • Align external labor market findings with internal Workday Analytics to provide benchmarks in Cox Recruiting methodologies, key performance metrics and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Recruitment, Sourcing, Competitive Intelligence and Employment Branding to align talent intelligence efforts with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Inform Recruiters and Sourcers on market shifts with development of newsletter updates.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required by the Talent Intelligence Manager and senior leadership.
  • Provide learning to CTA on how to interpret and communicate talent intelligence data to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics or Market Research. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to collaborate, contributing a problem-solving mindset and positive impact to the CTA team and Cox Organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lightcast, Talent Neuron, Oxford Economics or related labor market platform.
  • Data Visualization or Graphic Design skills.
  • PowerBI, Tableau or related visualization platform.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition.
