About the Role:

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage the shipping and receiving and shop, field support coordination for our business. The role will be accountable to prepare and process all incoming and outgoing shipments. This role will support the field support aspects, also support production activities and can adapt to a constantly changing workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, cleanliness, and safety.

Location: Edmonton, AB

Report to: Production Manager

Job Accountabilities:

  • Organizing and processing incoming warehouse inventory.
  • Coordinate shipping with couriers.
  • Helping drivers load or un-load truck (when needed), moving skids into the disposal area.
  • Make necessary verifications against documents and authorizing the correctness of the delivery order.
  • Prepare items for shipping. This includes crating equipment and wrapping skids.
  • Process orders and documents for export/shipping.
  • Build and update SOP’s as required for task above
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the shipping and shop area.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts.
  • Provide support to production and testing as required in addition to other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience working with hand tools and in a warehouse environment an asset.
  • Computer skills, highly organized, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Health and safety mindset with strong adherence to work procedures and processes.
  • Ability to self-direct activities and to work effectively independently or in a team setting.
