Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java AWS Developer (8887) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and extensive experience with AWS cloud services. This role involves migrating an existing Node.js platform to Java and requires expertise in cloud technologies, containerization, and database management.

Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions on AWS using services such as CloudFormation/CDK, EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Qualifications and Skills

• +5 years of proven development experience in Java.
• Strong experience developing in AWS, including CloudFormation/CDK, EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and access control mechanisms.
