As a Senior Analytics Engineer (11260) at Encora, you will be a key contributor to our analytics team, focusing on delivering high-impact insights within the insurance domain. Your expertise in underwriting, along with your proficiency in analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI, will drive the development of comprehensive data solutions that support strategic decision-making. Your work will help streamline business processes and optimize outcomes for our clients in the insurance sector.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements within the insurance domain, specifically underwriting.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
• Leverage your domain knowledge to translate complex data into intuitive visualizations that support underwriting and other insurance-related processes.
• Manage and organize data workflows, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analytical purposes.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation, ensuring transparent and organized processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide recommendations and insights that drive business value and improve decision-making.
• Continuously monitor and refine analytics processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong domain knowledge in insurance, particularly in underwriting.
• Extensive experience with Tableau (including Tableau Desktop) and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
