Description

As an Expert Data Modeler (11258) at Encora, you will be integral to our Self-Service Team, focusing on building advanced data models for Power BI, Databricks, and SQL. Your role will involve designing and implementing data models that empower users to create their own reports and analyses, enhancing data accessibility and usability.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and optimize data models using Power BI, DAX, and Databricks.
• Build and maintain scalable Self-Service BI models to enable users to generate their own reports and insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data models meet business needs.
• Develop complex queries and data transformations using SQL to support reporting and analysis.
• Ensure data models are performant, reliable, and aligned with best practices in data architecture.
• Provide technical expertise and support for data modeling and self-service BI initiatives.
• Participate in the technical evaluation process and client interviews as part of the selection and implementation phases.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in data modeling with a focus on Power BI, DAX, and Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience building Self-Service BI models.
• In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective data models.
• Experience working with Self-Service BI tools and enabling users to perform ad-hoc analyses.
• B2+ level proficiency in English, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
