Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define governance roles and ensure compliance.
• Conduct assessments, audits, and facilitate governance meetings.
• Provide guidance on best practices and promote data governance awareness.
• Align data governance initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data governance or related roles.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of governance principles, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Role-specific Requirements

• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
• Experience with data quality, data stewardship, and metadata management.

Technologies

• Experience with tools like Collibra, Alation, and Informatica Axon.

Skillset Competencies

• Proficiency in data modeling, regulatory compliance, and influencing cross-functional teams. Optional certifications like CDMP, DGSP, or CIPP are advantageous.
