About The Role

G2 is looking for a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer who will be responsible for innovating and exploring what’s possible in the world of RPA. This is a key role in G2’s overall strategy for smart growth. The RPA developer will be the technical SME to keep G2 up-to-date on RPA and the field while also helping build and deliver automation for various teams at G2. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with product operations analysts, project management, and subject matter experts to create and optimize workflow processes. The improvement in these processes help drive satisfaction for G2 employees so they can automate repetitive tasks, contributes to G2’s ability to scale by allowing us to maximize efficiency, and ensures G2’s user experience is smooth and seamless.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Design, develop, and test automation workflows.
  • Provide guidance with process design on automation feasibility by translating business requirements into automation designs.
  • Use observability and monitoring tooling to ensure we maintain business continuity for all processes, which may include working outside normal working hours to resolve issues..
  • Deploy RPA components including bots, development tools, code repositories and logging tools.
  • Enhance and resolve issues with any launched automation solutions.
  • Document processes for end users and other developers working with the automations.
  • Test solutions for accuracy and adherence to the requirements as well as ongoing live production testing to ensure the automation is functioning correctly.
  • Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
  • Collaborate with development and IT team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions within G2’s tech stack.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience on RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc. UiPath experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in any of the programming languages like C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.
  • UiPath RPA Developer and Document Understanding certifications preferred but not required (training can be provided).
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL) preferred and strong command of Excel / Google Sheets
  • Understanding of workflow-based logic.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Superior time management skills.
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences, ideally with visuals using tools like Vizio or LucidChart.
  • Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.
