Main Responsibilities

As an early Sales Engineer at Galileo, you will play a foundational role in designing, building, and scaling our products.

Minimum Qualifications

We’re looking for an exceptional Sales Engineer, interested in solving complex problems at the intersection of Data and ML. Ideally you have:

• A startup mindset, biasing towards thoughtful action with minimal direction.

• 2+ years of experience in a data science focused role

• Strong experience applying Machine Learning algorithms on unstructured data

• Strong communication skills in diverse situations

• Strong abilities to work across cross-functional teams

• Experience with being the technical lead on enterprise sales deals

• Keen interest in building innovative technical demos / proof-of-concepts

• Strong track record of driving customer pilots to technical wins

• Strong track record of helping customers onboard onto complex platforms

• Experience with Python frameworks like Numpy, Pandas, Dask and Vaex

• Experience with writing and maintaining customer facing API documentation and internal documentation.

• Experience with SQL databases such as Postgres and MySQL

• Experience with Git and GitHub
