Description & Requirements

Infor is looking for an experienced Data leader to bring an enterprise focus to our data strategy to support consistent, holistic reporting and better decision-making. This critical role will oversee the development and implementation of data lifecycle frameworks, responsibilities, processes, tools, and ensure the program's ongoing success. This person will lead a focused team of data custodians that partner directly with business stakeholders to identify, define, follow, and improve ongoing data processes, quality, & measures. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing & executing data governance strategies and initiatives that resolve gaps in data quality by working with functional and technical stakeholders to change processes & systems. The preferred candidate will be able to identify and communicate how quality data adds value to the organization and impacts business outcomes such as increasing revenue and efficiency while also decreasing costs.​
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise data governance program to build trust in data through data consistency, quality, cross functional collaboration, change management, and adding value with increased data usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to define data governance strategies, objectives, and priorities.
  • Lead the implementation of data governance frameworks, best practices, and processes aligned to organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Partner with technical teams to design and implement scalable data architectures and infrastructure to support current and future data needs.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of data initiatives.
  • Measure the adoption of data lifecycle processes and business value of data quality improvement, conducting data quality assessments and implementing measures to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for business-critical data.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and perform root cause analysis of data governance and data quality issues, create & align to a roadmap of priorities for improvement, and work with business and technology teams to implement data governance processes and technologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • ​​Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive enterprise data governance programs, preferably at a large-scale, complex organization.
  • ​Communicating and interacting in a multicultural environment at all levels up to and including the executive level.
  • ​Build relationships virtually across both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • ​Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving high-performance outcomes.
  • Experience leading and managing change initiatives while driving organizational transformation.
  • ​Creative problem solver who takes ownership of projects.
  • ​Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.​
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ​​Experience with customer journey lifecycles and the critical data elements that support this in a High-Tech organization.
  • ​Experience or certifications in continuous improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma.​
