The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human resources support to our regional field team. The HRBP will be focused on driving business results and increasing organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, midrange plans, and competition.

What You’ll Do

  • Builds strong business relationships with employees and managers in respective business units

  • Keeps up to date regarding business challenges, opportunities, strategic direction, industry and competitive environment. Uses HR and business information to consult with leaders and other functional leadership to develop appropriate HR strategies and solutions.

  • Support the analysis and facilitation of leadership and cultural initiatives. Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects our core values

  • Partner with business leadership to identify opportunities to attract, develop and retain people to achieve their potential

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to manager (including but not limited to coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions)

  • Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues. Conduct investigations in response to Employee Relations issues and recommend/implement courses of action based on investigation results

  • Oversees the development and implementation of succession planning and talent reviews that identify top talent, expose talent gaps and builds capabilities.

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to source and staff a diverse workforces and ensure a positive onboarding experience.

  • Monitors engagement and continuously looks for creative solutions to improve engagement through HR initiatives.

  • Leverages specialist partners to build HR tools and expertise to support client groups

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on HR projects as needed

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HRBP and/or HR role providing strategic advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and associates in a dynamic business setting with a large dispersed frontline population.

  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices and experience in developing, executing and maintaining of HR projects and programs

  • Demonstrated ability to build credible, constructive, and effective relationships across the organization with all managers, leaders, and individual contributors; demonstrated success in leveraging participation of key stakeholders in the resolution of complex employee issues and implementation of recommended solutions.

  • Effective leadership, management, and coaching skills; excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills (both oral and written). Must effectively communicate across all organizational levels with the ability to have effective critical conversations using diplomacy and tact to diffuse high tension situations effectively.

  • A pro-active, high-energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement

  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong consultative service and influencing skills with the ability to challenge decisions and facilitate change

  • Demonstrated ability to practice a high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent organization and detail skills, able to work well under stress, meet deadlines and ability to work independently and follow through on work assignments

  • Excellent computer skills in MS Windows environment, including MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint), and report preparation and updating

  • Able to manage workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced, frugal environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities

  • Able to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and independently to deliver results

  • Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes

  • A passion for change management

  • Ability to think systemically and to consult and influence strategically with management; demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret HR data and make recommendations based upon trend analysis.

  • Given the independent nature of this position, the incumbent must be highly adept at self-management, prioritization, organization, and time/project management

Salary Range

$84,225.00 - $145,990.00
