Technical Business Consultant

As a Business Consultant, you will be an integral member to a fast-growing team of industry experts and technology enthusiasts. The Business Consultant will apply his/her industry expertise with the Nuvolo Connected Workplace to undertake projects, analyze situations, and provide expert advice to address the needs of our customers.

While collaborating with partners, customers and internal cross-functional teams, Business Consultants will leverage industry and operational experience to elegantly articulate the advantage of Nuvolo’s Connected Workplace being built on the Now Platform that consists of one user interface, one code base and one data model in alignment with each customer’s business goals and objectives.

The Business Consultant will also lead and participate in client application delivery through the delivery of workshops, best practices and educational sessions to customers and partners.

As a Business Consultant, your role will include:

  • Being a thought leader on Nuvolo’s software execution and delivery approach
  • Meet with product experts to ensure system functionality is appropriately addressed to align with industry best practices and Nuvolo’s implementation approach
  • Drive client workshops and lead process design and analysis exercises
  • Advising organizations undergoing digital transformations;
  • Build credibility and trust to unveil complexities and nuances of the business and its processes
  • Document and present industry and operational experience insights to meet mission objectives;
  • Support presales scoping engagements
  • Collaborate with existing customers to understand current state, system design, and challenges in order to propose future state blue prints for a more optimized solution setup that drives increased value for the customer
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams to understand roadmaps and align to ongoing digital transformations leveraging the Now Platform
  • Work to define and document the impact that Nuvolo solutions will have on an organization’s ability to operate and transform their mission;
  • Recommend strategic drivers, mission outcomes, metrics and KPI’s to quantify solution impact and drive continual service improvement;
  • Provide thought leadership and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to identify, lead and contribute to the creation of leading practices, white papers, workshops, etc.;
  • Understand and communicate high-level governance and operating models on the Now Platform and integrations with existing frameworks and platforms.

Role could be a fit for you if you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing technology, consulting partner level leader or in a fast-growth, technology company;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
  • Industry experience with advanced understanding of multiple solution domains – including Field Service Management, Maintenance Management, Space and Move Management, Capital Program and Project Management, Real Estate and Lease Management, Sustainability Management and OT Security.
  • Passion about researching current and emerging trends in IT and specific facilities related industries with a drive to learn and improve the Nuvolo application;
  • General understanding of shared services operational models;
  • Experience in developing and growing Senior Executive relationships with an ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with various functional knowledge;
  • Consultative skills including issue diagnosis, unpacking and advising on mission level challenges;
  • Presentation skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation and white boarding;
  • Expertise overseeing or designing, implementing and managing advanced architectures in an application domain and integrating systems or platforms; and
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

The salary range for this position is $160,000- $185,000 base salary plus bonus. Proposed salary for the selected candidate will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market requirements, experience, training, and education.
