We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with in-depth Ruby on Rails experience to join our dynamic team working on the OneLogin platform. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure authentication solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and enhances the user experience. Responsibilities

-You will use your creativity to design, code, test, and debug software applications and features for the OneLogin platform

-You will ensure software meets performance, security, and reliability standards

-You will work freely in an agile scrum process; refining requirements, assessing effort, developing and testing code, documenting and reporting progress, conducting demos, and participating in retrospectives

-You will use your skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex software issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences

-You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

-You will stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

-You will have the chance to suggest and implement improvements to enhance the development process and product quality

-You will be in close cooperation with a globally distributed team of developers, testers, architects, escalation engineers and platform engineers

-You will have the opportunity to provide tier 3 on-call support on a rotational basis

-You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture

Qualifications

-You should have an undergraduate degree and 6+ years relevant experience or graduate degree and 4+ years relevant experience.

- You should have strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

- You should have proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer

- You should be proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

- You should have experience with various database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis) and their use cases

- You should have knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services and documenting in OpenAPI specs

- You should have the ability to write and maintain unit tests with testing frameworks like RSpec

Nice-to-have:

-The ability to write and maintain unit tests with testing frameworks like RSpec

-Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-Strong communication and collaboration skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of an agile development team

-Experience supporting and troubleshooting a production SaaS product utilizing observability tools such as Datadog, Sumo Logic, and Airbrake

- 5+ years of equivalent experience

-Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) functionality and technologies such as SSO, MFA, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM

-Experience with OneLogin or similar IAM solutions

-Hands-on experience programming in NodeJS and/or other object-oriented languages

-Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular

-Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS

-Familiarity with Docker containerization

-Knowledge of container orchestration services like Amazon ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.

-Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices

-Strong communication and collaboration skills in English
