SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Security team working on improving how our customers deploy our software and supporting internal teams. You will be reporting to the Head of Security and Infrastructure.

Full-time - 100% Remote - Location: the UK, Germany, or Serbia

Rasa can assist with work authorization/visa sponsorship in Germany only. But we do not provide any relocation assistance or relocation packages.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission. The Infrastructure & Security team works across the business, covering a variety of areas focused on making it easy for our customers to deploy our software and making it easy for our internal engineering teams to work effectively and securely. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll make an impact on your team by:

• Work to build and continuously improve the deployment process for Rasa products in a customer environment, using Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.

• Support internal squads in developing their products, helping them to build reliable and secure CI pipelines.

• Build, maintain and iterate on internal infrastructure utilising public cloud providers (AWS and GCP) including large Kubernetes clusters, managed services and GPUs.

• Act as a subject matter expert for engineering squads during the design stage of work that has an infrastructure or deployment component, guiding squads towards answers that result in a good quality, secure solution.

Technical Requirements

• Significant experience working with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP.

• Experience using infrastructure as code tools, especially Pulumi.

• Experience working with CI systems, especially Github Actions.

• Experience of working with Python.

• An understanding of the importance of security at all stages in the development and deployment process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience of working with OpenShift.

• You have a nuanced understanding of big company processes and complex team dynamics and the ability to navigate them effectively, to better understand our customers.

• You have prior experience of working in or with enterprise organizations with significant or complex security requirements, to better understand our customers.

The Infrastructure & Security (InfraSec) team sits inside the Engineering function at Rasa, and we provide support to teams across the entire organization. The team is currently four people split across the UK and Serbia and is composed of individuals with a DevOps and Security Engineering background.
