About the role: The Skydio Manufacturing Team is looking to add an Office Manager to enhance our workplace efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with various departments to manage office operations, coordinate administrative tasks, and improve overall organizational processes. This role is crucial for maintaining a smooth-running office environment that supports our manufacturing operations. Applicants should be proactive self-starters who have experience in office management and can build scalable processes in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Office Operations Management: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-maintained, organized, and efficient work environment. Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with office-related vendors, including suppliers, janitorial services, and IT support. Resolve any service disruptions or concerns promptly.
  • Facility Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the Hayward office staff and the Workplace Experience Team. Coordinate internal office moves, space planning, and office-related facility projects.
  • Communication Hub: Serve as a central communication point for the office via PA system, Slack, and email. Ensure all staff are informed about office policies, updates, and announcements.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize both onsite and virtual meetings, including room setup, catering arrangements, and logistics management in collaboration with the EA team.
  • Employee Support: Oversee the pantry and meal program for two shifts. Print badges for new hires and assist with onboarding processes.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Work alongside the EHS Leader to ensure the office adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Technology Integration: Support the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance office efficiency.

What Makes You A Good Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Pages, and Slack.
  • Experience in vendor management and basic facility management.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and light knowledge of Office Space and Envoy (a plus).

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
