The Work You'll Do:

We are looking for an experienced event manager to oversee and organize our in-person event strategy, driving the pipeline for Enterprise and Strategic target segments. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, creative, and strategic thinker who is passionate about designing cohesive event experiences across the brand.

An event manager is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We seek enthusiastic candidates who are excited to dive right in and start using their skills to create and flawlessly implement programmatic experiences that support business objectives.

This position resides within the Go-to-Market Team and reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing.

More specifically, you will:

  • Coordinate and oversee all event operations and promotional activities for strategic industry conferences, working with internal partners to define realistic KPIs for each event.
  • Design the end-to-end event strategy, ensuring a cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event experience to drive engagement and increase response rates.
  • Collaborate with Customer, Field, and Partner Marketing teams to maximize the value of each event across business segments.
  • Proactively engage with direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of events.
  • Review historic event data and provide suggestions to enhance success.
  • Assist in developing a framework for Events-in-a-Box to be deployed globally.
  • Evaluate new industry events that can help drive the pipeline for target segments.

What We Need From You

  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable event operations for Enterprise B2B audiences, including hosted roadshows and sponsored conferences.
  • Comfortable developing and presenting Event Strategy briefs to leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with creating and leveraging CRM reports to track results (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
  • Skilled in project management with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with developing KPIs and leveraging marketing techniques for event management.
  • Proficient in using technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware, and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
  • Position requires minimal (less than 25%) travel, both domestic and international, to Sovos locations and events.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
