Come and disrupt the HealthTech sector! An established AI HealthTech with over $105MM in Series C funding is assisting doctors and patients globally to improve patient outcomes through automating clinical documentation and workflows.

They are looking for a Deputy General Counsel/Head of Legal to be the first internal attorney and will be at the center of accelerating growth by defining the legal strategy with the founding team for their US customers and partners.

You will work cross functionally with Sales, Product and Customer Success to deliver and land Enterprise level deals in the Health Systems Market.

Responsibilities:

• Be the lead negotiator in transactions with a wide range of customers and partners.
• Coordinate and manage external counsel to resolve specialist issues and ensure fast delivery in contract review.
• Work with the COO and CEO to define legal strategy and provide legal support to sales and product teams.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.

Requirements:

• 8 + years experience negotiating commercial contracts, ideally with large institutions as counterparties. Healthcare systems are a plus, though experience negotiating with government, universities, and large corporations also qualify.
• Experience within a fast growth start-up environment within HealthTech - bonus points in AI
• Past experience in handling negotiations with US Health Systems.
• Experience with Data Privacy and Intellectual Property.
