The Opportunity:

The Head of Sales at Syncro will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth by overseeing and managing the growth sales team and strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans and ensuring their team meets or exceeds these goals. They will work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives, analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement, and foster strong relationships with key clients and partners. Additionally, the Head of Sales will be tasked with recruiting, training, and mentoring sales staff to build a high-performing team that can adapt to a dynamic market environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy
    • Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
  • Lead and Manage Sales Team
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team that includes Account Executives, BDRs, and Sales Engineers. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Drive Revenue Growth
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture and convert leads into customers. Develop relationships with key decision-makers and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  • Analyze Sales Metrics
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions. Adjust strategies as needed to optimize sales results.
  • Market Insights
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and address market needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Customer Focus
    • Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor sales approaches. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
  • Reporting and Forecasting
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to executive leadership. Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities and risks

Must have details:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with a keen understanding of sales processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics and performance metrics.
  • Ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and improve sales strategies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and platforms.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with software for MSPs and IT professionals
